A Cultural DeFi project inspired by the Andean philosophy of Ayni
QURI is a deflationary token on Ethereum born from a premise different from most DeFi projects: financial technology doesn't have to be devoid of meaning. QURI draws its identity from the Andean and Inca worldview, specifically the principle of Ayni, sacred reciprocity, to build an economic mechanism where every transaction simultaneously benefits the ecosystem, the community of Guardians, and the scarcity of the asset itself.
The project combines three elements that are normally presented separately in the crypto space: a solid and verifiable tokenomic mechanism (burn, reflection, ecosystem funding), a transparent technical infrastructure (live counters read directly from the contract, without intermediaries), and a coherent, differentiating cultural identity in a market saturated with generic projects.
This document summarizes the concept, the technical architecture, the security and trust measures already implemented, and the project's roadmap, with the aim of presenting QURI to potential collaborators.
More than five hundred years ago, the Inca Empire wove a network of roads — the Qhapaq Ñan — that connected mountains, valleys, and towns separated by thousands of kilometers. Along those paths traveled not only people: gold traveled, corn, wool, the spoken word. Nothing moved in a single direction. Everything that left a community, sooner or later, came back transformed.
That logic had a name: Ayni. It wasn't a rule written down anywhere, it was a way of understanding wealth. Giving didn't impoverish; accumulating without giving back did. Value only made sense as long as it kept moving.
Five hundred years later, decentralized finance promised something similar: systems without intermediaries, value flowing directly between people. But along the way, the promise filled up with empty contracts, tokens with no history behind them, communities treated as mere liquidity to extract and abandon.
QURI is not born to copy that past, it is born to continue it. Every transaction distributes value in three directions, just as the Inca road distributed what circulated through it, because we still believe that a token, like a road, only makes sense if it connects, not if it accumulates at a single point.
We don't ask you to trust a promise. We ask you to follow the path: it's all in the contract, in plain sight, verifiable block by block. Gold used to be kept in temples. Ours is kept in open source code.
Cultural DeFi is the term we use to describe an approach to decentralized finance in which cultural identity is not an aesthetic wrapper, but the very logic that structures the product. Most tokens differentiate themselves through their tokenomics or their marketing; QURI differentiates itself by starting from a centuries-old philosophy and translating it, literally, into smart contract code.
“Ayni: today for you, tomorrow for me. Reciprocity is not charity, it is balance.”
In the Andean worldview, Ayni is the principle that governs community life: no one gives without receiving, no one receives without giving. Applied to QURI, this translates into a fee mechanism where every transaction distributes value in three simultaneous directions, the individual Guardian (reflection), the community as a collective (burn, which benefits everyone by reducing the supply), and the project that sustains the infrastructure (ecosystem).
This is not an empty metaphor: it is the contract's functional specification. The philosophy doesn't decorate the product, it defines it.
| Name | QURI (QURI) |
|---|---|
| Network | Ethereum Mainnet |
| Contract | 0x5b5F406A5c96b3810e997e299d99E65550806C32 |
| Max Supply | 13,000,000,000 QURI — fixed, no minting function |
| Decimals | 18 |
| Initial Distribution | 100% to the project wallet, no presale or private allocation |
| Liquidity | QURI/WETH pool on Uniswap V2 |
| Liquidity Lock | 99% of LP tokens locked ~5 years via UNCX Network (public and verifiable) |
| Verification | Source code verified on Etherscan, contract ownership confirmed |
QURI applies a total 3% fee exclusively on buy and sell operations against the liquidity pool (Uniswap). Transfers between wallets generate no fee at all. This fee is split into three equal components, each with a specific function within the ecosystem:
| Component | Fee | Destination and Function |
|---|---|---|
| Ecosystem | 1% | mainWallet — funds development, marketing, and project growth |
| Reflection | 1% | Automatically redistributed proportionally to all Guardians |
| Burn | 1% | Permanently removed from total supply (real deflation, not symbolic) |
| Total | 3% | Applied only on buy/sell operations against the liquidity pool |
These percentages are declared as constants in the contract code, there is no function that allows modifying them after deployment. This is a structural guarantee, not a promise: anyone can verify it by reading the source code published on Etherscan.
One of QURI's pillars is the contract's verifiable security. Unlike many projects that only promise security, QURI demonstrates it through structural absences, functions that simply don't exist in the code, so they cannot be activated even by the team itself:
The contract is publicly verified on Etherscan, with the source code matching exactly the deployed bytecode, and ownership of the contract address has been confirmed via cryptographic signature.
Trust in a DeFi project is demonstrated through verifiable, irreversible commitments, not statements of intent. QURI has locked 99% of the liquidity tokens (LP tokens) of the QURI/WETH pool for approximately 5 years, through UNCX Network, one of the most recognized liquidity-locking services in the sector.
This lock is public, auditable by anyone at any time, and technically impossible to reverse before the unlock date, not even by the project team. It is the strongest guarantee that exists in the DeFi ecosystem against a sudden liquidity withdrawal.
The project's official website (quritoken.com) is not limited to displaying static information: it includes tools that read data directly from the contract in real time, without relying on what the team states:
This “verify, don't trust” approach reinforces the project's coherence: the same philosophy of transparency that underpins the cultural proposal is also applied to the technical infrastructure.
QURI offers a collaborator something rare in this space: a project with a genuine, differentiated identity, sustained by a technical architecture that doesn't rely on blind trust, but on constant public verification. In a market saturated with indistinguishable tokens, Cultural DeFi is a clear, defensible positioning proposal with real room for growth, both in narrative and in community.
The project is in an early and honest stage of its development, with the fundamental foundations already secured (verified contract, locked liquidity, transparent fee mechanism) and a clear roadmap toward maturity (audit, community expansion, new listings). It is precisely at this stage where collaboration has the greatest potential impact.
